Hey boys and girls This is Reginald. He is a great horned owl and he is the senior member of our crew and is as wise as an owl should be. He is very good at solving problems and likes to help the other Outdoorables out of trouble especially Buzz and Austin. He likes to make sure everyone is safe and happy. Like me, He likes to find out all about the woodland creatures, what they like to do and where they live. He finds out about the animals of the world too. Some are very rare. Reginald’s favourite thing to do is sit with a nice cup of tea. Reginald thinks everything can be solved with a good book a chat and a nice cup of tea Isn’t that right Reginald?
Reginald? Oh never mind!
This is Sorca and she is a clever young vixen.
Vixen is the name for a female fox. She is a sporty, energetic and confident member of our crew who is best friends with Daisy and they do all sorts of things together like collecting acorns or baking. Sorca likes to go on fun adventures and play lots of sports and games especially when daisy is cheering her on. she is competitive and likes to race as she can run very fast. Her favourite sport is football and she really is great at it. She thinks she should be able to do everything a boy can do only better. Buzz and Austin don’t like that very much do they Sorca?
This is Austin and he is a pine marten. Say hello Austin come on be nice wave at the boys and girls. He is the joker in our crew, who has a mischievous side and sometimes goes too far so its lucky we have Reginald to sort things out. He is always playing jokes and tricks on the crew especially poor on Buzz and he gets them both into all kinds of trouble but i think he must be a good guy really. Thinking about it you did hide Reginald’s glasses last week and that wasn’t very nice especially as you hid them in daisy’s chocolate cake.
Reginald and daisy were not very happy with you at all. Austin are you laughing?
This is Daisy. She is a very kind, caring squirrel who is very quiet and shy. She likes to help everyone in the woods and loves to bake lots of yummy cakes and cookies all with her favorite nutty chocolate inside and decorated with a daisy on top of corse. She likes to share them with all of her friends too. She is a bit shy but her best friend Sorca brings her out on lots of wonderful adventures.
Although they can be a bit scary but she wouldn’t tell daisy that. She loves to go on picnics and watch all the bugs and insects go by. We like to share a nice piece of cake on these picnics especially if it’s chocolate don’t we Daisy?
This is Buzz. He is an active, funny and playful buck which is a male deer. He likes to lift heavy weights with his antlers although they are only small they are very strong indeed.
Austin teases him about his antlers and buzz doesn’t like that but they are soon back to being good friends. Austin likes to take buzz on fun adventures but it always ends up with getting buzz into trouble or even stuck and then he has to be rescued again! He is always being tricked by Austin or beaten in a race with Sorca but he is always happy and ready to lend a hand especially if that means getting daisy’s chocolate cake he is always happy and ready for the next race.
